QILT

The Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) is a federal government website that helps prospective students easily compare the study experience and employment outcomes from Australian higher education institutions. Students can also compare the different study areas of different institutions, with all results based on thousands of surveys completed by students across Australia. All ranking results below were determined by UOW's ranking based on the average performance across all QILT indicators.

UOW is the number 1 university in Australia for:
  • Equal first in Australia for Teacher Education on QILT 2018, receiving the highest average ranking across all indicators.
     
UOW is the number 1 university in New South Wales:
  • Highest ranked university in NSW overall on QILT 2018
  • Highest ranked university in NSW/ACT in eight study areas on QILT 2018
  • First in NSW/ACT for Learning Resources, Learner Engagement, Skills Development and Generic Skills on QILT 2018
