If you have just finished high school but didn’t quite get the marks or would like a career change, there are a number of Diploma options at the University of Wollongong (UOW) that can give you the head start you need.
These UOW Diplomas are available for domestic students who are eligible to apply for a Commonwealth Support Place (CSP). This means that students can benefit from zero up-front tuition fees. Upon successful completion you can receive guaranteed entry into the first or second year of the relevant UOW degree.
Diplomas at UOW provide an in-depth preparation for either further study (undergraduate bachelor degrees) or entry-level career opportunities. Academic skills development is embedded in UOW Diplomas, with an emphasis on oral, written and presentation skills, and also group work.

The Diploma of Arts, Social Science and Humanities is an in-depth preparation program which provides guaranteed* entry into either the first or second year of a number of degrees in the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. It is the ideal program if you are interested in exploring a broad range of disciplines including human geography, public health, linguistics, history and international relations.

The HLT54115 Diploma of Nursing is an 18-month course which will provide you with the knowledge, skills and attributes for practice as an Enrolled Nurse.
