Changes to parking from 28 September

If you're heading to campus later in the day, parking is about to get easier and more affordable.

From 28 September, changes to casual parking at the Wollongong campus will improve access in the afternoons and early evenings.

What's changing?

Earlier access to casual parking

Casual parking in P2, P5 South and P6 (adjacent to the hockey field) will be available from 3 pm, instead of the current 4 pm start time.

CellOPark app only in selected car parks

Ticket machines in P2 and P5 South will be removed. Casual parking in these locations will be available through the CellOPark app only.

Lower parking fees

Casual parking fees in these areas will be reduced, making it more affordable for students, staff and visitors arriving later in the day.

Timed parking restrictions ending earlier

Timed parking restrictions across all casual and permit car parks (P1 – P8) will finish at 5 pm, instead of 6.30 pm. This means greater flexibility for those accessing campus during the late afternoon and early evening.

Important information

These changes do not apply to reserved car parks, which will remain reserved 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Updated parking rates, times and CellOPark information will be available from 28 September, with signage across campus updated over the following month.
