Bayes on the Beach is a biennial conference held in Australia, organised by the Bayesian Research & Applications Group (BRAG) in collaboration with the University of Wollongong and QUT Centre for Data Science (CDS); the Australasian chapter of the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA): the Statistical Society of Australia, (SSA} Bayesian Statistics Section; and Queensland University of Technology (QUT). This meeting has been held for over 17 years and is a small gathering of Bayesians drawn from across Australia and around the world.
The meeting provides an opportunity for Australian and international researchers to present and discuss the most recent research developments in Bayesian statistics. In this meeting. delegates are encouraged to make contacts with experienced researchers including internationally well-known keynote speakers. The interactive workshops and tutorials aim to discuss and resolve open problems using Bayesian methods by working in groups. The invited presentations contain a series of interesting and recent research topics related to Bayesian methodology. During the poster sessions, the presenters have the chance to discuss their research with other delegates in a relaxing environment.
