Top talent search at the UOW Graduate Careers Expo 2015

Top employers from around Australia will bring their national search for high-calibre graduates to the University of Wollongong Graduate (UOW) Careers Expo tomorrow (Wednesday 18 March).

The Expo, hosted by UOW Careers Central and event partner Defence Force Recruiting, will give approximately 1500 students and recent graduates an opportunity to meet future employers in the same location.

More than 30 exhibitors are expected to attend the Expo, with the majority of these organisations actively recruiting final year students for their 2016 graduate programs.

The careers expo also offers a range of opportunities for students at earlier stages of their degree.

Many organisations offer vacation employment, internship opportunities, work experience, scholarships, co-op and other programs that provide students the chance to gain valuable work experience with leading employers.

The careers expo will highlight the range of rewarding career opportunities that are available in both the public and private sectors of the labour market across a variety of industries.

Employers who attend the careers expo have a valuable opportunity to speak directly with UOW students and target high performing future graduates from all disciplines.

Students who intend to go to the Expo are encouraged to plan ahead and be ready to speak with employers.

Careers Central will be running a resume review booth on the day to help students polish their resume and are encouraged to dress professionally if they want to take advantage of the free LinkedIn photo booth, sponsored by CPA.

High-profile organisations attending the event include, among others Defence Force Recruiting, EY, CPA Australia, GradConnection, KPMG, Woolworths and Accenture.
