A life of influence and purpose
The service will bring together Professor McKinnon’s family, friends, former colleagues, University leaders, honorary recipients, alumni, students, civic representatives and members of the broader community to reflect on his extraordinary contribution to education, public life and the development of UOW.
The event will honour Professor McKinnon’s legacy through formal tributes, music, archival imagery, family and sector reflections, and an opportunity for guests to gather following the service.

Note to visitors: Increased attendance is expected which may result in higher levels of vehicle activity and some congestion on campus. Parking in P8 will be reserved for memorial service attendees only. As a result, overall parking availability across campus will be reduced during this time.
