HDR Induction

The Graduate Research School invites all incoming HDR candidates to a 2-day HDR Induction, held Tuesday, 25 and Wednesday, 26 February, 2025. This event will be held on UOW main campus, with online options available for those who cannot attend in person.

The two-day event will be facilitated by the Researcher Development Unit (RDU) and the Graduate Research School (GRS) and involve a range of sessions that will set new candidates up for their first year and ensure they have the best experience at UOW.

Presentations will include:

  • Making a Great Start;
  • An Introduction to HDR Writing;
  • Elevating your Research Impact;
  • Skill Development for HDRs;
  • Support Services and Student Communities,
  • How did you do it? A Panel with Experienced HDRs,
  • and much more.
