This special event will be hosted by our new Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Gaoqing Max Lu AO.
An internationally recognised chemical engineer, researcher and higher‑education leader, Professor Lu was born in China and brings a deep personal connection to our Chinese alumni community. He is committed to strengthening these ties and building new partnerships for the future.
Date: Saturday, 1 November 2025
Time: 6 pm - 8 pm
Venue: InterContinental Beijing Sanlitun
Cost: Complimentary, and includes canapés and refreshments
Dress code: Business attire / smart casual

Drinks and a light dinner will be provided, and alumni are warmly encouraged to bring a guest. Please also share this invitation with your friends and colleagues who are part of the UOW alumni community.
