The Sustainable Buildings Research Centre (SBRC) is a multidisciplinary facility that hosts a wide range of research and industry collaborations to address the challenges of making buildings sustainable. Pioneering new approaches to building design, construction and retrofitting techniques and creating more effective places to live and work. Buildings have major economic, environmental and social impacts on our community and the planet. Between a quarter and a half of all greenhouse gas emissions result from our construction and use of buildings.
