HDR Workshop: Reproducible Research

Presenter: Professor Marijka Batterham - Director, Statistical Consulting Centre

Reproducible analysis is now a requirement of many journals and allows reviewers, thesis markers and other investigators to fully understand the processes you have gone through to analyse your data.

This seminar will go through the principles of reproducible research and demonstrate practical ways you can make sure your analysis is able to be repeated easily if you need to make amendments yourself or by other researchers.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this seminar, you will be able to:

  • Understand the principles of reproducible research
  • Understand how reproducible research can be implemented using Rmarkdown in RStudio (no previous experience necessary)
  • Understand how to keep track of analyses conducted in other packages e.g., SPSS, STATA

Who is this for: Early to mid-stage HDR candidates.
