HDR candidates and supervisors are invited to join Professor David Currow (Interim Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research & Innovation) & the Graduate Research School in a fun afternoon of ‘Warts And All’ Workshop & Social Event! There, we will hear about the failures of some of UOW's most successful people, share their own stories, and learn about strategies to overcome challenges.
We're very excited to announce that Professor Peter Caputi (Head of School of Psychology), Associate Professor Shahriar Akter (Associate Dean Research, BAL), & Dr Yannan Li (DECRA recipient, EIS) will be the guest panellists at our first ever HDR 'Warts & All' Workshop!
This will be an invaluable opportunity for HDR candidates to come together and acknowledge that research doesn't always go right, and that it's OK when things go wrong! We welcome all HDR candidates and supervisors to join us for a great afternoon of learning, networking and connecting 3:00-5:30 pm on Tuesday 22 November 2022.
