The UOW Social Club’s Mission is to foster a collegiate atmosphere that brings together current staff, retired staff, alumni, students and community members to enjoy organised events.
Social Club
The University of Wollongong Social Club was established in 1984 to foster a collegiate atmosphere on campus and to promote cross-campus activities for all staff, students and interested community members. Represented by their butterfly logo, the Social Club has a focus on social interaction. The Club hosts a variety of social functions, often incorporating outdoor activities.
An annual student academic merit prize is also awarded to a child or grandchild of a member.
The club brings together members from professional staff, academics, students, retired members of the UOW community and any persons interested in furthering the aims of the University.
