St George Illawarra Dragons in conjunction with WIC have launched their ‘Best You Can Be’ school icon competition.
Dragons player and Indigenous man, Josh Kerr joined local schoolgirl, Shye Beveridge at the WIC Yarning Circle to create a short video that was shared with the 99 NSW Primary Schools.
The video was put together to promote the school icon design competition, which aims to engage primary schools to best explain their school’s purpose in supporting learning, with an Indigenous focus.
Dragon’s community team asked schools to design an icon that reflects their school values and the local Traditional history and or stories.
