How is this program run?

This program is running online and in person.


What will I do?

UOW is committed to a low-emission future. Carbon Literacy is a short course that teaches you about the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities and will give you the capability and motivation to reduce emissions as an individual, and as part of UOW's community.


How will I benefit?

From participating in this program, you will be able to:

  • demonstrate an understanding on the impact of climate change on sustainability
  • develop skills, knowledge, and experience to determine pathways to a carbon-free world
  • take appropriate individual actions to reduce carbon footprints
  • engage in conversations that promote CO2-reduction initiatives.

How do I apply?

Register before 20 October 2023 in Moodle (Carbon Literacy Program).


Are there any special requirements for this role?

There are no special requirements.


Minimum requirements for UOWx recognition

To receive UOWx Recognition, you must complete the following:

  • An "engaged" student will need to complete all of the self-study components and attend the live session.
