FAQs

It's Go Time

It's Go Time is a multi-week approach to orientation. The It’s Go Time week-by-week program of events and resources is designed for new students to help you settle into UOW, succeed in your studies and make the most of everything that student life at UOW has to offer.

It's Go Time includes a range of activities that cover almost all aspects of the university experience. The events that are available to you will vary depending on which campus you are studying at, the faculty you belong to, whether you are an international or domestic student and if you are living in a UOW Student Residence

To see what events are available to you, you will need to register through the It’s Go Time invitation email sent to your personal email closer to the start of session.

Once you are registered, you can start adding all of your chosen events to your schedule, including your campus or Faculty Orientation Day

The multi-week nature of It’s Go Time allows you to pick and choose which resources, activities and events you would like to attend and engage with. All events center around key themes that aim to support you in your transition to university.

It's Go Time  is designed for new students. However, returning and continuing students are welcome to attend the festival.

This multi-week approach allows students to pick and choose which resources, events, and activities they want to engage in, without the information overload that would happen with the usual one week of Orientation.

The multi-week schedule will include a range of themes designed to help you succeed at university, including Get Started, Connect, and Succeed.
