Blended delivery

  • In line with the current practices of UOW learning, some 2023 Summer Master Classes subjects may use a blended delivery model with staff-led online classes in combination with on-campus classes.*

Course overview and assessment criteria

Compulsory attendance

  • Students must achieve 80% attendance of timetabled classes and program activities between 3-20 January, 2023.
  • Students must also attend an on-campus Orientation day on 13th or 14th December, 2022.

* On-campus components of delivery will be COVID 19 permitting. Should on-campus delivery not proceed all activities will be moved to online delivery.

  • Students who successfully pass their Summer Master Class subject will at minimum be guaranteed a conditional offer or admissions interview to a degree that aligns to the Summer Master Class subject they complete (noting must meet the assumed subject knowledge criteria).
  • Credit towards a UOW degree that could make you eligible to skip a whole subject when you study at UOW.

  • There is no UOW managed accommodation available for Summer Master Class students in 2023.
  • UOW will undertake NO supervisory capacity for students outside of Summer Master Class timetabled classes. UOW cannot provide an after-hours emergency contact point for students outside of this timetabled delivery.
