COVID-19 social distancing

In alignment with COVID-19 social distancing measures, alumni and community guests are currently unable to visit UOW Libraries. Online services remain accessible and we look forward to welcoming you back into our spaces once pandemic restrictions are lifted.


 

Alumni and community guests can become members of UOW Library to access resources, services and spaces.

Alumni & guest services at UOW libraries

Alumni

Alumni can join UOW campus libraries at no charge.

On top of your existing UOW alumni benefits, you can:

  • access a wide range of online resources
  • borrow up to 30 items for 28 days or borrow five items at regional campus libraries
  • place up to 10 holds at a time and renew your items more than once
  • visit Library spaces during regular opening hours.

Your Library membership application will be processed and confirmed within 3-7 business days.

Guests

You may qualify for guest membership if you live, work, or study (at HSC level) in the Illawarra, Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla or Bega districts, or by agreement.

Guest members can borrow from their local collection. Please see your local UOW Library for details, including available opening hours.

 

As a member of UOW Library, you agree to follow the Library Code of Conduct.

 

Databases for alumni

Alumni members can access selected online databases for personal research and educational use.

You will be prompted for a username and password when accessing alumni resources.

USERNAME: enter your library username from your confirmation letter.
PASSWORD: enter the library barcode on your Library alumni membership card or from your confirmation letter.
