Major life transitions, such as pregnancy and motherhood, can impact on women’s mental health and wellbeing.

This webinar explores the biological changes in the brains of those with mental illness, and current research that seeks to understand sex differences in the biology. New research focuses on how various approaches to the treatment of maternal depression alter the brain as well as offspring outcomes.

Join leaders in molecular discovery, Professor Kelly Newell, Associate Professor Katrina Green and Associate Professor Susan Thomas, together with HDR students, Samara Brown and Noor Jarbou, as they discuss their latest research in the biology and treatment of depression.

Moderator: Associate Professor Katrina Green
