Aurecon is an engineering, design and advisory company, but not as you know it. Aurecon has asked four Aurecon graduates (all of whom are UOW alumni!) to let you know what the day in the life of an Aurecon Graduate looks like.
The UOW alumni are:
- Kunal Tiwari, Tunnel Engineer
- Xavier Hollis , Civil Engineer
- Bec Pink , Water Engineer
- Meg Cummins, Undergraduate Engineer (Water)
Kunal & Xavier will give an introduction to their lived experiences as emerging professionals in the world of Engineering, including for Kunal as a former international student. Find out what day-to-day life looks like, projects, working in a multidisciplinary team setting and personal shares on “What I wish I knew as a uni student”.
Meg & Bec will discuss how your STEM degree can take you further than you think, sharing their Aurecon journeys and highlighting different opportunities available. Bec and Meg will also talk about the extracurricular and the social sides of working at Aurecon.
The presentation will be for 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of Q&A.
This event is a collaboration with UOW society 'Women in STEM', however, all students are welcome.
