Course Description

Professional accreditation as a hospital medical physicist requires completion of a Bachelors degree in Physics, an accredited Masters program which includes coursework and a research component, together with five years' hospital experience and vocational training. The Graduate Diploma in Medical Radiation Physics allows students to complete the formal coursework necessary for accreditation by the Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) separately from the research component. Students should seek academic advice from the Director of Studies prior to enrolment.
