Course Description
The Adult, Vocational and Higher Education postgraduate specialisations have been designed to assist a broad range of practices in adult, higher and vocational education training settings, including adult and community education providers; professional or community organisations involved in adult education; TAFE programs; industry training, etc.
The course themes are:
- Leadership and management in adult, vocational and higher education in the context of globalization.
- Utilising and theorising the new technologies of learning in adult, vocational and higher education.
- Teaching and learning theory and practice in diverse settings.
- Innovation in adult, vocational and higher education, utilising action research and learning methodology.
The courses provide opportunity for students, who are most often mid-career professionals, to develop work-based projects to sustain innovation and change in their own organisations.
Dependent upon student and client needs, the program can be offered totally online or as on campus delivery. International students, however, can only study this program by distance education.
