Fees (Summer Session)Domestic (Award) Students - ExistingIf you were enrolled during 2007 at the University of Wollongong in a Commonwealth Supported Place you will incur a liability in accordance with the number of credit points undertaken and the 2007 charges. Please note that the census date for Summer Session is 17 December 2007. a) Payment Option
You do not need to change your HELP-loan option for Summer Session unless you wish to change your method of payment. The last date to change the method of payment for Summer Session is 17 December 2007. b) Payment of 'Up Front' Student Contribution
If you have elected to pay your Student Contribution 'up front' you will receive a payment advice in late November . Please note that if you have elected to pay 'up-front' and you fail to make your payment by the census date you may have your enrolment cancelled. c) Student Contributions cannot be refunded if you withdraw from a subject after 17 December 2007.
Domestic (Award) Students - CommencingIf you are commencing your degree in Summer Session you will incur a liability in accordance with the number of credit points undertaken and the 2007 charges. Cross-Institutional StudentsIf you are a domestic undergraduate student you will be liable under the Commonwealth supported scheme. Postgraduate students will enrol as full fee paying students and may be eligible for FEE-HELP assistance. International students will be required to pay the appropriate international fees.
Domestic (Non-Award) StudentsAll Non award students enrolled in Summer session will be required to pay non-award tuition fees based on the number of credit points you enrol in. These fees are payable at the time of enrolment and the 2007 non-award fees are $250.00 per credit point. International Students Enrolled at the University of WollongongYou will be required to pay additional fees for subjects undertaken during Summer Session. The fees will be based on a pro-rata charge for each degree and must be paid by the International student audit date. If you have any outstanding fees after 17 December 2007 your Summer session enrolment may be cancelled. If your fees are paid under scholarship schemes you should seek written approval from your sponsor to undertake Summer Session. Notification of approval should be forwarded to the Academic Registrar's Division no later than 3 December 2007. The International Student Audit date is 17 December 2007. If you withdraw from subjects after this date you will still be liable for the fees for those subjects. The fees for subjects withdrawn before the International Audit Date will be transferred to Autumn Session 2008. Further information may be obtained from Student Central.
International Non-Award StudentsYou will be charged fees equivalent to the University of Wollongong's 2007 international fees for each subject undertaken. The details will be outlined in your letter of offer. Payment of the tuition fees should be forwarded with your acceptance.
