How Student Support Advisers help staff

• Resource to help with disability issues eg. understanding why!, mid session exam questions, how to find resources or equipment
• Liaison for the disability program
• Case management and support for students with complex issues eg. international students, Course Progress Rules, misconduct and grievances
• Critical incidents contact and support
• Assist faculty with transition programs eg. Orientation
• Assist with equity programs initiated by the faculty
• Student welfare and support
• Participate in committees as a resource on student issues
• Participate in other university and community projects eg Welcome to Wollongong
