University of Wollongong Social Club Merit Prize

Value: $1,000

Year of Prize: 2011 Based on 2010 Academic Results

This award shall be open to students who are the children or grandchildren, including adopted children or grandchildren of a current financial UOW Social Club member. The Social Club member must have been a continuous financial member for the six months prior to any application being submitted.

Criteria:

Candidates must have completed a minimum of 24 credit points in a coursework degree in the immediately preceding year.

The prize shall be awarded to the candidate who has:

• successfully completed a minimum of 24 credit points in the immediately preceding year and

• achieved the best WAM (which must be 70 or higher).

Applications:

Interested students are encouraged to apply to the UOW’s Academic Registrar’s Division. Applicants must submit:

• An application form

• Your full academic record for 2010

• Documentary proof of your relationship to the social club member (birth certificate, statutory declaration etc)
