How Do I Get Into WebCT?

To enter WebCT you must be enrolled in a subject that uses WebCT. Currently only 40% of UOW subjects use WebCT.

How do I enrol into the online WebCT subject?

By following the normal University enrolment procedure. All students enrolled in a subject will have access to the online information if they have a UOW email address. It may take up to 48 hours from enrolling in a subject for WebCT access to be granted (but note that only 40% of subjects have a WebCT site).

What do I need to get into WebCT?

WebCT uses your email login/account name and password for authentication, so to use WebCT you must have a UOW email login/account name and password.

What if I forget my email password?

The ITS website has a User Account Management for Students page where you can recover your password.

What software do I need?

A modern web browser such as Netscape Navigator, Mozilla or Microsoft Internet Explorer. For further details see Required Software & Computer Settings.

Where Do I Log On?

Current UOW students can log on to WebCT subjects through SOLS. Other students can log on via a special page for Students Affiliated with UOW.

In the occasional event that SOLS becomes unavailable, current UOW students may also use the log on page for Students Affiliated with UOW.
