ATTENTION ARTS STUDENTS
Dear Students,
The Faculty of Arts would like to officially invite you to the Inaugural General Meeting of the much anticipated Faculty of Arts Student and Staff Association (FASSA).
Wednesday August 15 2007 at 12:30 in the Arts Faculty Courtyard (building 19).
This will be your opportunity to vote in the FASSA Executive and General Committees in what’s being labelled a very democratic election!
Each student and staff member running for a committee role will present to you their reasons why they should be elected, then, it’s off to the polling booths for everyone to cast their votes.
Gourmet coffees, iced teas, soft drinks & cup cakes will be available at rock bottom prices for FASSA members.
Dr Glenn Mitchell will mc the event along with BA students, Paul Stuckley and Troy Monagle – so be prepared for a very entertaining lunch time!
Rumour also has it that WIN TV, the Mercury and the UoW Media Unit will be covering the event.
The committee will be announced at the official launch party at the UniBar at 5pm on the same day and the newly elected president of FASSA will make their inaugural speech.
We hope to see as many of our students and staff at the election and launch party as possible.
