Y drive - Shuttles back to full services
You’ll be pleased to know that all three shuttles will be back up to full service levels starting this Monday 21st.
The North Gong Shuttle to the station and around campus will step up to 72 round trips per day, linking with almost all of the trains and providing good access to people from International House, the North Wollongong area and right up and down the coast.
The G-K Shuttle will be providing 23 trips per day to Gwynneville, Keiraville, West Wollongong, Weerona and Keiraview at Smiths Hill.
And the Gong Shuttle will continue to provide 154 trips per day to Wollongong, North Beach, the Innovation Campus, Gundi, Weerona, Campus East and Fairy Meadow. Travelling in both directions, that’s two buses from the Uni every 10 minutes from 7am to 6pm and every 20 minutes til 9:40pm weekdays.
The pocket guide with timetables is available at Student Central and across the campus, or on the web from www.uow.edu.au/transport . We are not mailing them out this year to save a small forest.
I hope you’ll be able to leave your car at home as the session starts, help the environment and avoid the congestion.
