The big book and DVD swap
Come swap your old books and DVDs at the Book & DVD Swap, to be held on 19 – 20 April in the Library.
What do you have to swap? Most people can only read a book once, even if they loved it! Do you own DVDs you have seen a million times?
Pay $5 to swap as many books and DVDs as you like at the Book & DVD Swap. You’ll also get a free ticket into the draw to win an Apple Ipad, plus purchase extra raffle tickets at the swap.
When: Tuesday 19 – Wednesday 20 April, 11.30am – 2.30pm
Where: Panizzi Room, Library
How does it work?
Bring your books and DVDs to the Panizzi Room (Ground Floor, Library), pay $5, browse the books & DVDs other staff and students have brought in then take the same number of items home. Get in early, heaps of books and DVDs will be available right from the start, thanks to staff in the Library.
Why?
All funds raised go to the Indigo Foundation http://www.indigofoundation.org/, a volunteer-run, independent Australian community development organisation.
Please note: Only items in reasonable condition will be accepted; we won’t accept textbooks and can’t accept pirated DVDs. Textbooks can be donated to the Alumni Bookshop.
