You can apply for an $500 EdStart 2009 UOW Grant-In-Aid if you are:
• An undergraduate student studying for your 1st degree.
• Enrolled in at least 12 credit points for Autumn and Spring sessions.
• An Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or holder of an Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa.
• Not receiving a scholarship of more than $500.
• You, or your family who are supporting you, are receiving Centrelink support or earning a low wage.
• You are not going on exchange this year.
EdStart grants provide support for goods and services provided through the Unishop, Library, Visual Arts or KidsUni. Students attending Wollongong and Shoalhaven Campus and any of the University Education Centres are all invited to apply. Applications are assessed solely on the basis of financial need. Applications close 6th February, 2009.
• NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
• APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IF THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION IS NOT RECEIVED AT STUDENT CENTRAL BY THE 6TH OF FEBRUARY, 2009.
