Register early for City to Surf
The University of Wollongong is again hosting a UOW City2Surf team for this years City to Surf being held in Sydney on Sunday August 8 and students are being urged to register before June 9.
Some things have changed significantly regarding the City to Surf this year:
The event starts a half hour earlier 8.30am so participants will need to leave Wollongong earlier than in the past. Bus transport is being arranged
Registration cost depends on whether you enter on line or not -- and if you enter before 9 June or after that date
Event timing now uses a micro chip which participants wear on their shoes and is free this year
Chest bibs and micro chips are not available on the day of the race.
Participants must collect these at the expo beforehand or have them mailed before the event. Anyone entering after 9 June will have to collect the chest bibs as they will not be mailed
UniCentre will again have an online registration system this year.
