Jump-in Carpooling Launch
Dear Student
Environmentally it is best for you to leave your car at home, but if you have no choice we would encourage you to carpool. UOW provides free parking for cars arriving with 3 or more people (follow the web link below for more details).
In alignment with our commitment to reduce our carbon footprint UOW is promoting a new program designed to put you in touch with others interested in carpooling.
The “Jump-in” Carpooling launch will occur on Wednesday 4th March from 12:30-1:30pm. It’ll give you the chance to learn about the carpooling program as well as meet others who are keen to carpool from your area. Lunch is provided free of charge. A venue will be announced shortly
In the meantime, please visit www.uow.edu.au/about/transport/rideshare to learn about it and register on the new Carpool website – you may be able to start pooling from day one and avoid the parking rush starting Monday 2nd.
