Help a community and get 8 credit points
The UOW Student Community Impact Team 2009 (supported by the Centre for Student Engagement) will be partnering with the Bank of I.D.E.A.S and the rural community of Coleambally to facilitate the development of a Community Action Plan alongside community members.
The project provides UOW students with the opportunity to take their skills into rural NSW, work collaboratively and engaging with people from different backgrounds. Students may gain credit points for this position.
1. Time: Mon 28th September – Fri 2nd October 2009 2. Where: Coleambally (580kms to the west) 3. Who: UOW students from specific faculties 4. What: Create an Action Plan 5. How: Initiate a whole town conversation 6. Why: Help the town move forward in the future
