Free cycling and road safety courses

UOW has arranged free cycling training for you, whether you are a beginner or wanting to learn the road rules and have a little more practice.

Courses start next week - 2 courses are available:
• Mon-Thurs 20-23 Sept, 4 x 1hr - 12-1pm each day Beginner/Intermediate
• Saturdays 2 and 9 October, 2 x 3hrs 9am - 12pm Intermediate and Road Safety

Training is provided through AustCycle - a government endorsed initiative
By gaining the confidence to ride to Uni or around your local area you can:
• save money on petrol and vehicle costs
• improve your overall health and well being
• reduce your ecological footprint
• help to reduce traffic congestion and parking difficulties.
You will benefit from this course if you:
• haven’t ridden a bike for a while and don’t have much confidence
• ride now and again but wouldn’t be comfortable riding on the road
• ride regularly but would like to improve your skills for commuting.
• want to learn the road rules

Venue: UOW Wollongong Campus
Cost: No cost to UOW Students or Staff
Contact Radmila from Mobile Bike School on 0449 525 829 for more details or to make bookings
