Free cycle training

** Do you ride a bike to Uni or would you like to? - Free cycle training **

UOW would like to invite interested students to take part in a FREE Bike Road Safety and Skill Improvement course conducted on campus during March.

Training is provided through AustCycle - a government-backed initiative offering quality cycling training around Australia.

By gaining the confidence to ride to Uni or around your local area you can:
• save money on petrol and vehicle costs
• improve your overall health and well being
• reduce your ecological footprint
• help to reduce traffic congestion and parking difficulties.

You will benefit from this course if you:
• haven’t ridden a bike for a while and don’t have much confidence
• ride now and again but wouldn’t be comfortable riding on the road
• ride regularly but would like to improve your skills for commuting.
• want to learn the local road rules
