Campus Watch Security Alert - ATM Skimming
A Staff member has reported this morning that they have been the victim of a ATM card skimming incident.
All ATMs on Wollongong Campus have been checked this morning and/or Banks informed. From current information available it is not apparent that the event has occurred on campus, although that is the concern of the Staff member involved.
As a reminder everyone should remember to take precautions when using ATMs, check to see that the ATM has not been tampered with and cover your hand when entering your PIN number. For further information about your Bank's ATM security and skimming devices contact your Bank.
Never allow your card out of your sight when using EFTPOS transactions.
