Emergency crews will begin door-knocking 130 homes around the Slack Flat Creek area.
Bulli Public School students have already self-evacuated to Bulli High School.
Bulli High School principal Bruce Sander said he had been advised about noon by the NSW Department of Education and Training (DET) and the SES that the safest thing to do would be to transfer students from Bulli Public School to the high school
.
They are currently in our hall and the DET has made every effort to contact parents," Mr Sander said.
“A large number (of parents) have now collected their children. "

Students will remain at the high school this afternoon until they are collected by parents.
