Tips for users
Introduction
The Rationale for Statistical Literacy explains the importance
of the course and describes the purpose of the modules.
You can navigate to an explanation of the purpose modules and description
statistical literacy by simply by clicking on the highlighted question
you are interested in, as in the example below.

Accessing the Modules
To access the modules click on WebCT modules in the grey bar. The
other links on the navigation bar go to the Rationale, Source Material,
this Tips for Users page.
Under Rationale you will find the 3 modules listed. Click on one
of these to go to the Content List for the tutorial of that topic.
Select the content you want to cover and click on the link. Once
you have finished in a content area you can click on Next to go
to the next section or click on Menu to return to the Content List
for that topic.
Navigation within the Modules
At various places within the tutorials you will notice a highlighted
number or word. Highlighted text is a link that you can click on
for more information related to the topic.
Throughout the tutorials there are activities for you to complete
as a way of checking your understanding of the content. When you
have answered a question by clicking on the radio button you can
self check this by clicking on the answer button.
Accessing the Quiz
At the end of the topic you will find the following message
Now you have finished Module 1.
Complete the quiz.
Click on the link which takes you to WebCT where you logon to complete
the quiz for the topic.
