You can be considered for enrolment at the University of Wollongong as a cross-institutional student, provided that vacancies exist in the subject(s) for which you have applied. University rules, as stated in the University of Wollongong Handbook, also apply to cross-institutional students. As a non-award student you must meet admission requirements which are determined by the faculty to which you are applying.
8.2 Application for Cross-Institutional study at another University.
If you wish to study a subject at another institution and have it accredited towards your degree at UOW, you must complete an Application for Cross-Institutional Study at Another University. This is available from the Student Forms and Documents page.
9. General Information
9.1 Student ID Cards
You will receive a Student Card at the beginning of your first session of enrolment which remains valid for the duration of your enrolment.
You must have your card with you at all times during your attendance at the University. The card must be presented when attending examinations, borrowing books from the Library, when requesting an enrolment record, when applying for a travel concession, etc.
If you lose your ID card, please notify Student Central (ground floor, building 17) as soon as possible. There is a $10 charge for replacement ID cards.
9.2 Application for Credit or Exemption
If you have studied at another University or at a TAFE college before coming to UOW you may be eligible for some credit or Advanced Standing. This means some of the subjects you sucessfully completed elsewhere may count towards your studies here @ UOW.
Applications for Credit or Exemption must be signed by the Sub-Dean of your Faculty and be returned to Student Central, ground floor building 17. Application forms are available from the Student Forms and Documents page.

If you require a statement that you have satisfied the requirements for your course; a statement of the subjects required to complete your course; a fees notice; or any other type of statement, you can do so by submitting a document request found in Section 3 of the Student Forms and Documents page.
