Notes:
It is also important you are aware of the basic rights and responsibilities of tenants before you agree to rent a property. The Office of Fair Trading Renting Guide contains this information.
You will most likely need to apply for university accommodation before you arrive in Australia as applications close two months before the session commences:
Autumn Session (February): 30 November
Spring Session (July): 1 May
An application fee of $75 for new students and $50 for returning students applies. Applications submitted without this fee will not be considered.
The Accommodation Services Office will notify you of the outcome of your application by email. If you are offered a place in one of the residences, please read through the contract information sent to you as this will explain costs, conditions and any special requirements.
