Information for Staff

Learning Development offers a range of services to support and enhance students' academic learning. LD strives to develop and deliver informed and practical support for students' learning, by observing, interpreting and advising on academic work within the specific contexts of disciplines and subjects. Faculty collaborations with LD are helping to develop students’ tertiary (academic) literacies and language, and meet the learning needs of an increasingly diverse student population.

For an overview and explanation of LD practice, philosophy and strategic planning, see the 'Practice' link below. To see examples of LD programs, strategies and resources, go to 'Showcase'’, which links you to a database of LD work with faculties. To see which LD academic sits on your Faculty Education Committee (FEC), see the ‘LD representatives’ link below.

To see the services and resources for which your students can contact LD directly, click on the 'Information for Students' page. Information on the Turnitin text-matching system, and who to contact for further information, can also be found under the 'Turnitin' link below.
