Indigenous graduates from the Woolyungah Indigenous Centre - Lorraine Dunshea, Sharon Trindall and Kobie Delaney - each received a Bachelor of Nursing degree at the Wednesday morning graduation ceremony. UOW boasts a 100% employment rate for nurses within three months of graduation.

CEO of Southern Eastern Sydney Illawarra Area Health Service, Mr Terry Clout, delivered the Occasional Address at the Wednesday morning ceremony. The UOW graduate has held a number of senior roles in NSW Area Health Services including working as Acting Chief Executive of the Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service, Chief Executive Officer of the former Mid North Coast Area Health Service and Chief Executive of the Hunter New England Health Service. He is pictured with the Chancellor, Mr Michael Codd AC.
