Clover Corporation is a publicly listed company that focuses on the provision of high Omega 2-DHA marine oils and powders and specialty soy and cereal ingredients. During his international career, Professor Brown has been mainly involved with the provision of nutritionally beneficial food ingredients. One of the primary focuses of his work has been the physiological effects of resistant starches and their ability to improve public health. Joanne George received a Master of Science at the Wednesday morning ceremony - her third degree from UOW. Joanne works in the Faculty of Engineering and completed her degree through the UOW Postgraduate Staff Sponsorship Program. Joanne was also awarded the Marie Lewis Award earlier this year for her performance and service to the University. Established in 2002, the award recognises the achievement of a member of the general staff who is completing an undergraduate degree.
