Off-Shore Graduations

The University offers courses in a number of overseas locations in partnership with higher education institutions in those countries.

 

Offshore students eligible to graduate have a number of graduation options, they may:

  • Choose not to attend a Graduation Ceremony
  • Attend a Graduation Ceremony held by the Partner Institution
  • Attend a Graduation Ceremony held in Australia at the University of Wollongong.

Your choice will determine how and when you should apply to Graduate.

If you choose not to attend a Graduation Ceremony or you wish to attend a Graduation Ceremony held by your Partner Institute you will need to complete an application to graduate through the UOW Offshore Conferral Process. The application must be submitted before Offshore Conferral Applications Close.  These dates are as follows:

Once you have been conferred you will receive your Testamur and Academic Transcript and will be eligible to attend the Graduation Ceremony held by your Partner Institution.

If you choose to graduate at a University of Wollongong Graduation Ceremony held in Wollongong, Australia you will need to attend to the information on the Graduation web site.  

Please note: students choosing to attend the Graduation Ceremony in Wollongong will not receive their Testamur or Academic Transcript until the day of the Ceremony.  The student is solely responsible for all travel arrangements, Visa applications, and financial costs involved in traveling to Australia and the University assumes no responsibility for arrangements or costs incurred by the student or their family in traveling to Australia for the Ceremony.
