Hiring Academic Dress

If you are planning to hire your academic dress the cost is included as part of your Graduation Fee. The Graduation Fee is $85- (inclusive of GST). For more information please follow the link to our Frequently Asked Questions on the Payment of Fees.

In order to avoid delays on the day of your ceremony, please prepay this amount before Friday 11 July 2008.

If you are hiring your academic dress it is available for collection when you register on the day of your ceremony. If you are graduating in a 9:45am ceremony, the Registration desk is open from 8:00am. If you are graduating in a 2:30pm ceremony, the Registration desk is open from 1:00pm. Your academic dress will not be available to collect prior to these regulation times. Staff will be available to assist you with dressing in your academic dress on the day.

Purchasing Academic Dress

If you are purchasing academic dress:

Graduands who wish to purchase academic dress for graduation can do so at any time of the year from the Unishop. However, if for any reason a particular item may be out of stock, you must place your order no later than 6 weeks prior to the ceremony. Enquiries regarding the purchase of academic dress may be directed to Anne Anderson, telephone (02) 4221 8060 or via the general Unishop enquiries number (02) 4221 8065. Please note that telephone orders will not be accepted. Orders must be placed in writing on the order form (see opposite page) and either:

• faxed to (02) 4221 8063 and marked "Attention: Academic Dress Officer", or
  
• posted to:

For those graduands who choose to purchase academic dress, it will be available for collection from the Unishop Enquiry Counter inside the Unishop on the day of graduation.
