UOW LIVING - THE MANOR

Overview

The Manor is a small, premium quality residence that provides a unique living experience to nine higher degree research (HDR) and post graduate students.  It is managed by International House.

The Manor has 9 large bedrooms each with king single beds, study desk, chair, wardrobe and air conditioning. Residents share two bathrooms, a large kitchen, living area and dining room facilities.

Located across the road from North Wollongong train station, students experiencing The Manor Living can make the most of the convenient location.  The free shuttle bus to the main campus stops across the road, and the beach and Wollongong are nearby.  International House is a short walk from The Manor.

Culture and Style of The Manor –

The Manor is a small community that is designed to meet the living needs of higher degree and post graduate students.  The modern facilities  include large bedrooms, new kitchen and cooking facilities and a communal area that is conducive to study and socialising.  Internet access is  available in all rooms. 

Students  have access to all of the programs and facilities at nearby International House including the award winning iLive program and meals in the dining room. Students are able to participate in as many or as little programs as they choose.  A mutual benefit for students experiencing The Manor Living and students experiencing International House Living are the joint initiatives and activities between students from both residences.

The Manor is for individual students only and does not accommodate families and children. Family accommodation is available at Graduate House or contact the Housing Officer for more options.
