If you have made no accommodation arrangements, temporary or short-term accommodation is available in Wollongong. Some local temporary accommodation providers are listed below. It is essential that you make a booking.

Located in Keira Street, Wollongong. Keiraview Accommodation is a short walk to shops, beach and either Wollongong or North Wollongong train station. A range of rooms are available including 40 student rooms, which are single rooms with ensuites, TVs and a communal kitchen which has your own fridge and lockable cupboard. They have an outdoor BBQ area and also an indoor communal lounge/TV area, and internet lounge/cafe.

Located in Pleasant Avenue, North Wollongong. The Beach Park Motor Inn is a friendly, family run motel, which is close to the beach. Public transport is close by and will take you directly to the University and the Central Business District. Costs vary according to the type of facility you require. Single rooms are priced from AUD$88 per person per night.

Located in Bourke Street, North Wollongong. The Normandie Motor Inn is a 15 minute walk to the Central Business District, close to public transport that will take you directly to the University. It is a short walk from North Wollongong Railway Station. There is a restaurant on the premises for your convenience. Family rooms are available if required. Costs vary according to the type of facility you require. Single rooms are priced from AUD$104.00 per person per night with single University rates from AUD$89.00 per night.

Located in Parkinson Street, Wollongong. Sky Accommodation is a short walk from the Central Business District and close to shops and public transport. Dormitory rooms, single rooms and studio apartments are available. Costs begin at AUD$44 per person per night.

Applications are being accepted for Autumn Semester 2010. Due to the very high demand to live @ UOW, it is recommended that you apply on line as soon as possible, and definitely before 30 November 2009. While applications received after this date will be considered, they are less likely to obtain a place in residence. Information about Autumn Semester 2010 offers can be found here.
