Short Stay Accommodation

There is University managed accommodation for short stay guests or visiting staff available on campus within the residences or at the University Lodge.

Keiraview Accommodation – Located in Keira Street, Wollongong. Keiraview Accommodation is a short walk to shops, beach and either Wollongong or North Wollongong train station. A range of rooms are available including 46 student rooms, which are single rooms with ensuites, TVs and a communal kitchen which has your own fridge and lockable cupboard. They have an outdoor BBQ area and also an indoor communal lounge/TV area, and internet lounge/cafe.

Campus East is located in the beach side suburb of Fairy Meadow, and has two guest units available for short stay visitors. One is a self-catered unit fully equipped with kitchen, laundry and bathroom facilities. The other is a comfortable double room with ensuite. Both are available for visiting staff and short stay visitors. Coin operated laundries are available on site, and visitors may use the Free Gong Shuttle to the UOW Campus. Campus East is also a short walk from Fairy Meadow Railway Station.

The University Lodge provides deluxe accommodation in seven tastefully appointed rooms and suites located at the western end of the campus. Guest rooms range from “apartment size” VIP suites containing a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge and study, through modern one bedroom units with separate lounge area, to the economical Studio Room (motel style).

Each room has its own private ensuite with either mini or wet bar as well as a host of kitchenware items including coffee and tea facilities. Most rooms have either a courtyard or balcony with views of the escarpment and Mt Keira.

Other services available at the Lodge include: morning housekeeping service; a Continental Breakfast served to your room; full use of the Guest Lounge and of the fully equipped laundry; Car parking at the front door. NEW LIVING OPTIONS FOR 2012

Marketview - This self catered residence has recently joined the UOW Living offering and is conveniently located in the heart of the city.  Rooms are motel style and the free gong Shuttle is only minutes away.  Apply Online through the Accommodation Portal.

Alternate living options in 2012:

Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort (WSLR), affiliated to UOW, ideal for singles, couples and families with young children, offers fully self contained motel style units. Apply Online through the UOW Accommodation Portal
