Airport Pick Up Services

The University offers a complimentary Airport Pick Up Service for all newly enrolled UOW International students and Wollongong College Australia students who have a progressive offer for a University of Wollongong degree course* arriving in Australia for the first time. Students will be collected from Sydney Airport International or Domestic terminal and transported directly to their accommodation destination. Additional family members or friends of the enrolled student may also use the service, however they must pay the appropriate fee.

* This includes all students with an offer for:

• English + degree;
• English + Foundation Studies Program/Diploma + degree; or,
• Foundation Studies Program/Diploma + degree.

This free airport pick up service may be transporting several students to Wollongong at the time of your arrival.  The vehicle will depart when all of the students have arrived, therefore it is important that you wait for the driver at the indicated locations below.  Due to unexpected delays of other arrivals, occasionally there may be a wait.

Where to wait for airport pickup –Domestic Arrivals

A representative of Leisure Coast Limousines or Airport Connections will meet you at the baggage collection area in the domestic terminal.  The representative will have a sign with the UOW logo on it.

Where to wait for airport pickup – International Arrivals

A representative of Leisure Coast Limousines will meet you at the “Meeting Point” a designated meeting area in the International Terminal (please see photo below).  The “Meeting Point” is opposite the ANZ bank, and in the middle of the two arrival gates. The representative will have a sign with the UOW logo on it.

Important note: Each Student requiring an Airport Pickup Service, must submit their own individual Application online.
Please ensure that your request is made at least 72 Hours Prior to Arrival at Sydney Airport. If you are arriving on a Saturday or Sunday, your request should be made by no later than 4pm on the preceding Thursday. This also applies to any changes in your arrival schedule.

Should your arrival times change whilst you are in transit, please contact Accommodation Services on (02) 4229 9700 on your arrival in Sydney. If you have been delayed and arrive at the airport outside of office hours (9am – 5pm Monday, through Friday), you may contact Leisure Coast Limousines directly on (02) 4261 7393. A driver will collect you as soon as possible and take you directly to your accommodation.
