Student representatives can be found on Council Committees and Senate committees and subcommittees such as the University Council's Administrative Committee and Appeals Committees. The University Education Committee and the University Research Committee are committees of Academic Senate. The University Education Committee (UEC) is to provide leadership in the development of policies and strategies aimed at achieving the University's objectives in teaching and learning. The University Research Committee (URC) is the central body for research management at the University. It has the responsibility of developing policies and procedures regarding research and overseeing their implementation. Student representatives can also be found on various subcommittees including the Support for Student Learning Subcommittee and the eLearning and Teaching Subcommittee.
