Targeted Travel Grants

The University of Wollongong generously supports students planning to study overseas by providing more than $200,000 worth of funding annually.

Depending on destination, students are able to apply for a Targeted Travel Grant ranging in value from $2,000 to $5,000.

Targeted Travel Grants are awarded on the basis of academic merit, financial need and the International Exchange Program interview. Preference is given to students going on exchange for two sessions. 

The International Student Exchange Program application form includes a travel grant application section. To apply for a targeted travel grant, include a statement outlining your financial needs and how you intend to finance your studies overseas.

All students who do not receive a targeted travel grant, will be eligible to receive a travel grant of $1000.
