Targeted Travel Grants

The University of Wollongong generously supports students planning to study overseas by providing over $300,000 worth of funding annually.

Depending on destination, students are able to apply for a Targeted Travel Grant ranging in value from $2,000 to $5,000.

Targeted Travel Grants are awarded on the basis of academic merit, financial need and the International Exchange Program interview. Preference is given to students going on exchange for two sessions. 

To apply for a targeted travel grant, include a statement outlining your financial needs and how you intend to finance your studies overseas in the travel grant application section of your application form. All students who do not receive a targeted travel grant are eligible to apply for financial assistance in the form of a travel grant of up to $1,000.
